EDIT: The answer is definitely no.
I don't know. I'll give it a whir-
OH GOD NO!

Well funnily you seem to be okay with fans saying the same about the wokeness of the Chibnall era. I fail to see the difference. They're at least both shit because they were both made exclusively with a particular special interest group of fans in mind.
The only turning point in 80s Who was the hiatus, which was itself solely caused by bean-counting and a lack of comprehension about the show's popularity and the love its fans had for it by those running the BBC.
I'll grant that all things being equal, the hiatus would've still happened, and all the problems with the show beforehand were incidental.
Maybe JNT being in close contact with a loyal enough fanbase to put pressure on the BBC to bring it back did save the show for a few more years, in a way that might not have happened back in the Williams era.
I can grant that.

... pardon me.
Resurrection is awesome. A gritty 80's sci-fi actioner.

I don't like it, but I can live with it and appreciate bits of it.

Bingo! Hit the nail on the proverbial head.

I own it I'm very much in the mood to watch it this weekend. Really cool cover despite the fact that she's not on it.

That's the one I've got. The transfer is very impressive for a DVD.

What did you say about Dana Delorenzo and Ingrid Oliver?

I have no idea who Dana Delorenzo even is I only know of the name because you're always talking about her.

The instrumental version used in the film is lovely:
Top Gun is a testosterone-fuelled fun ride.

She played Kelly Maxwell in Ash vs Evil Dead. You have to watch it. Its an awesome show and its only 3 seasons so you should finish it in no time.
Kelly is my favourite character, above even Ash himself I have to say LOL.
A woman swearing can be so attractive.
Dana was also an Amy Winehouse impersonator for years before she became an actress. She sang in an Amy tribute band, House of Winehouse. She really looks like Amy. (Which is a big part of why I fancy her LOL.)
Its hard to tell them apart. She needs to play Amy in a film of her life. She does the accent brilliantly.

Oh, I DO know who that is. I remember seeing that video before. She is rather sexy, I agree.
I'm very much a fan of Bruce Campbell so I will definitely give it a shot. Do they spend a long time in the 80s?

Actually they do! I believe its in season 2, they travel back to the 80s at the time the first Evil Dead movie is set. Ironically that episode is among the weakest as it was thrown together at the last minute but its still fun.
Bruce Campbell is amazing. He is practically an entire genre all by himself. Lucy Lawless is also in it as a villain/anti hero.
Her and Kelly even team up several times. Its no surprise that I liked it. Its got Xena the Warrior Princess and basically Amy Winehouse teaming up to take on Demons and monsters.
This scene is pretty unbelievable.

Ash vs Evil Dead is a bona fide classic, pure and simple.
I was gutted when it came to and end.
It was utterly fantastic from start to finish.

"Warriors of the Deep" despite it's flaws beats that twee Graham Williams smug shit "City Of Death" hands down.
In fact it completely fucking walks over EVERY SINGLE STORY in the loser Graham Williams era, the Mary Whitehouse appeasing twat.
His era completely and utterly destroyed the programme with his kiddy K9 shite and made it the focus of every single bully in the school playground to kick the shite out of anyone who dared talk about it.
All because of some freakish overly-sensitive right wing apologist cultish pressure group when really the programme ought to have been making excitingly violent stories which had brought it such public acclaim during the Hinchcliffe era.
Only infantile simple minded cunts liked the Williams era.
Someone please quote me on that.
