Been a really long time since really be bothered with the main Hero comics. Last great comics I read from that lot was Planet Hulk and World War Hulk. I’ve found myself gravitating towards older stuff like the old Gold Key comics. Turok, Son of Stone. Magnus, Robot Fighter. Mighty Samson. Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom.
Still my favourites will always be Dark Horses Alien and Predator comics. While they did slip a bit in quality a few years back from what I’ve seen their most resent runs have been really good.
The only issue I have with Dark Horse is that their the ones most responsible for turning the aliens into giant insects. Aliens made the comparison but Dark Horse ran with it and dumbed down the average alien’s intelligence. Still some fucking amazing comics though.
A manga fan also but I grew up with classic stuff from the 80’s and early 90s, long before it was was made mainstream by Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z. A lot of modern stuff I just can’t stomach though.
