I understand as the subject is depressing and rots your brain. Still the only thing I say is that sadly you can't escape from it. Video Games, tv shows, comic books, sports, even the education system its crept its way into everything.

I wasn't banned. I changed the email address that I used for the forum to a new email address and Mike couldn't be bothered to validate the new email so that I could continue posting as Maxil. I tried coming back with different accounts but none of them were ever accepted for some reason.

Yes I have. I also know Mott1 very well on FB too. I think he's just busy right now. He's certainly not in trouble or anything. Any other Hives would like to add me on FB, just message me.

I would have done if I hadn't already deleted my account. I find my life to be a bit better without social media.

I agree with Colin when he says that males can have female role models, and females male ones. There is no reason why someone has to look like you for you to admire them.

However, his argument about Star Trek doesn't really hold. Janeway was a female starship captain, not a female Captain Kirk. I like Janeway, but a female Kirk is just ridiculous. A more accurate comparison would be to say that as Star Trek has female captains, does Doctor Who has female Time Lords - which they long have done.

The summer of 2015. I also met Sylvester McCoy that day and he was much nicer. I wouldn't mind meeting him again and getting him to sign one of my DVDs.

Colin was pretty cowardly. He could have disagreed and still stood up for PD's right to air his views without being bullied by the social media mob.
