I've seen these reviews so many times. I can pretty much quote everything he says.

Plinkett went FAR too easy on the Force Awakens in my opinion. I was genuinely surprised that he actually liked it.

Personally, I'd rate it above Revenge of the Sith and below Return of the Jedi.

It's a mediocre film with a really uninspired plot, and an incredibly bland, overpowered protagonist. The fact that Rey was able to perform mind control tricks and defeat Kylo Ren in lightsaber combat with zero training in the force was fucking ridiculous.

Oh, yeah. Did I mention she can fly the Millennium Falcon better than HAN FUCKING SOLO!?

Rey is a mary sue. None of the original characters were. I don't find these perfect, do no wrong characters very endearing or even progressive.

Not a shipper but it's fun to see the fake outrage from the anti-Reylo crowd.

I haven't seen it - does the title mean there will literally not be any more Jedi in the franchise? If not, can we do them for false advertising / trade descriptions?

I swear even now the ruddy film is still being advertised by those two meercunts...

I've watched the film twice since the digital version was released and I don't think my opinion on a film has ever done a 180 so fast before. Went from being the second worst Star Wars movie to possibly the best, if not then a close second to Empire.

Could be worse... at least it's not as bad as the Star Wars holiday special. Which was more like watching a Wookie reality show rather than a Star Wars film.

I'm still waiting for the DVD release of the Holiday Special. Any day now...
