Beauty and the Beast given adults-only rating in Russia

I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in current events, so sod it.

Seriously? I mean what the actual fuck. The film is about bestiality, yet they aren't letting young uns see it because one of the leads is gay That's insane!

Russia has also given Power Rangers the highest rating possible for including "gay propaganda". I'm sure  you've all seen headlines that it features the first lgbt superhero character on film. Nothing in the film is even explicit, it's a throwaway line in a scene that quickly moves on.
"Boyfriend trouble?"
"Yeah... boyfriend troubles."
"Girlfriend trouble?"
The last part was delivered in a way that it could have easily been playful and she ignores him anyway rather than confirming or denying anything. She wasnt even hinted at being in any kind of a relationship. If it weren't for the people making a big fuss over it, Russian censors would probably have not noticed it.
