Classic 80s/90s sitcom with some lovely, unfettered writing that we'll sadly never get to see again....

Al Bundy was proof that not all heroes wore capes.

These older sitcoms rule. Comedy is at its best when it's pulling no punches.

The main episodes I remember were when the daughter was trying to audition to model a new Al-ante car and ended up in a catfight with one of the other girls.

And also the Peggy's pregnant storyline, and the kids being on breakfast duty ("pudding slaves to mount mom"). I believe somewhere along the line Peggy hid the remote control just to drive Al completely spare.

I just finished season 4 a while back, will be starting 5 in a few months. Great show.
