Watch this delightful mini-rebellion on the Omega Files as pro-Jodie spinster Doc Freedom finds himself backed into a corner defending the episode while mostly everyone else goes on about how shit it was. Star of the cast is Beefhead

Plus a couple of people have picked up and run with the fake viewing figures thingy.

El Patron watched The Inforarium mini-sode for the first time, and praises it as one of the show's best scenes.

Doctor Who claims to be the fastest-growing scripted series in all of television this year in the US. with gains in Nielsen live/same day viewership over the previous season in total viewers and both the 18-49 and 25-54 demos. The long-running series claims it's up 47% in total viewers, 46% in adults 18-49, and 32% in adults 25-54.
Growth came from women 18-34, whose audience doubled from last season, ranking Doctor Who among the top-15 cable dramas this year in this hard-to-reach demo. In Nielsen live+7 ratings, Doctor Who is averaging 1.6 million viewers per episode (through eight episodes), up 20% percent from the 12th Doctor's final season (1.3 million) and ahead of the first seasons of the 9th, 10th, and 11th Doctors. Doctor Who also ranks among the year's top five drama series on social media.
To celebrate the milestone, the series announced via Twitter its next anticipated round of new shows.

What do you expect? Americans are stupid.

The American ratings story is a lie, the ratings during this season were tiny.
Probably what that particular effort is about is America doing its own version of Doctor Who for streaming-only customers, leaving the English version to collapse on its own.
The fake ratings story is to prepare the way for that.

Agreed those articles about Doctor Who being a big hit in America are total bollocks. Is laughable the way they are trying to spin viewers so low hey barely register as a hit.
It reminds me of Magnus Creel when he gets told that the Sigma experiments where a failure and all the slaughter was for nothing and he shouts "NO, NO, NO, NO THE SIGMA EXPERIMENTS WHERE A SUCCESS, A BRILLIANT, UNPARALLELED SUCCESS!"
All of this has been for nothing! Feminists didn't get their female hero. The Doctor will still always be thought of as a male hero because that's what he fucking is, and if anything this disaster will probably prevent there from ever being a female Doctor again. Ironically whilst I wouldn't have ever liked it, it might have been passable with a decent actress, but Jodie has kind of salted the earth.
On top of that it has NOT reinvented the brand like all the soyboy fans claimed. Yes viewers were given a slight boost from the drek of the Capaldi era (which were similarly sunk by SJW bollocks.) But they are sinking fast.
They've destroyed the reputation and popularity of an icon, wrecked characters like the Master beyond repair, and necessitated the need for New Who and Classic Who to be separated and its all for NOTHING.
Yet Mr Tardis, Claudia Boleyn, Council of Geeks, Paul Cornell, Steven Moffat, Whovian Feminism and Richard H Cooper ALL of whom are complicit in the demise of the show much like Magnus Creel deny reality and shout " NO, NO, NO, NO JODIE WHITTAKER AND MISSY WERE A SUCCESS, A BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT UNPARALLELED SUCCESS!"

Has anybody seen Mr Tardis' latest video
Jesus Christ the more desperate he becomes the more I do hear Magnus Creel "NO, NO, NO JODIE WHITTAKER WAS A SUCCESS A BRILLIANT, UNPARALLELED SUCCESS"
Mr Tardis better known as the butcher of Doctor Who fandom's credibility.

Heard this rumor a few times over the last few weeks, and now "Nerdrotic" who claims to have connections in the know is reporting that the BBC plan to rest the show after series 12.
By doing that they don't have to incur the wrath of social media when they replace Whittaker with a man.
Personally although I hate nuwho and would love to see it cancelled tomorrow, I wouldn't like the idea of putting the show on hiatus during Whittaker's tenure. The thought that her incarnation would be the incumbent that carry's on in books & audios like McGann's did for a decade is very depressing.
