It just goes to show you how cucked Moff was. He went too far even for Claudia!

A significant portion of the SJW fan clique disagreed with her on that one.

Whovian Feminism and Council of Geeks both defended it to some extent.

I know that Whovian Feminism have raunchily tried to defend Twice Upon a Turd, but I don't necessarily think that Council of Geeks was trying to defend it in the slightest. In fact, he has hearted some comments that put out the annoyance of the 1st Doctor's character. It would have been more beneficial for him to watch more Hartnell stories, certainly, but it's more of a case of him not being more exposed to Classic Who. In fact, his recent videos seem to talk more about certain annoyances he has with NewWho and more praising Classic Who.

The 12th Doctor is essentially policing himself in that episode when he tells the First Doctor to "stop saying things like that." What an embarrassment.

What utter shite. Racism has never been less of an issue.

'These issues are still going on today', none of this is going on today.

Isn't the whole point of the episode to highlight the legal and social changes consequent of the 'incident' - in other words, she and this event are the reason why things have changed and thus deserve thanks and recognition? No?

The biggest issue I had with that episode was the representation of white people. Every single white person depicted in the episode (except the regulars, of course) were portrayed as horrible racists. It would have been nice to have a few sympathetic white characters. Rambo: Last Blood got heavily criticised for portraying all of the Mexican characters as shady and unscrupulous scumbags which wasn't even true. I never heard the same criticism aimed at Rosa. I don't believe that every boy and his mother was a despicable xenophobe in that area at the time. I've only seen it once so if I'm forgetting things I apologise.

Good video on Chibnall's plagiarism and creative bankruptcy.

I still haven't seen any of this era.

Be square with me; even for morbid curiosity or even unintentional Tommy Wiseau style humour, is there ANY value in me checking the season out?

It is currently on special at a local retailer.

I would just watch it on Netflix but Doctor Who has been removed for a little while.

You'll get a resounding 'no' from most of us here, but "Woman Who Fell To Earth", "Demons of the Punjabb" and "Kerblam" are the best of a checkered bunch, not bad, just not particularly engaging television either.
