When he replaces himself with someone who is female and black then he can talk about his gestures for equality.

Ian, all hope is not completely lost. As a Bowie fan in the 1980s I've come to believe even the most ropey material can be followed by a better era one day (tho unfortunately not as good as the 1970s).

You see this is why I hate these SJW cretins. They actually end up insulting other great women in the industry. Jodie is really saying there were NO heroes who looked like her, IE women in the 80s and 90s?  Hmm I guess I must have imagined, Alien, Terminator, Xena, Day of the Dead, The Heroic Trio, Buffy, Charmed, Alias, Resident Evil, etc?

She really thinks her castrated version of a male character, that she plays like Bubble from Ab Fab is going to be more significant than those characters?

Eat your hear out Buffy, Xena and Ripley.

You ladies were just the warm up act for Jodie's amazing heroine who's going to make all us man babies not sexist, and convince women that they can do it too!

There's another longer video that I saw a bit of where Jodie says that the Doctor has always been about inclusion, and that we'll still recognise her as the Doctor, a hero that's nice to people, doesn't throw punches, and doesn't ever use guns.

Again this the Doctor doesn't use weapons, doesn't use violence shit? HOW could people think that about the Doctor?

The most interesting thing in all of this is that it shows that old saying "A lie repeated enough times becomes the truth."

Like look at the whole, the Master and the Doctor are gay lovers thing. That is obviously bullshit. That was NEVER the intention of any of the writers, actors, producers who made the show. 99.9 percent of fans and viewers NEVER drew that conclusion about their relationship throughout the entire history of classic who.

Yet the Fitzroy tavern cucks and the SJWs insisted it was, bullied people who pointed out that it was obvious bullshit, stuck that in the show and now that is just accepted. Its not just that the current version has been rewritten to be that, now apparently the previous Masters were all that too.

Look at these articles from tv tropes to see what I mean.

FoeYay Doctor Who

The Master: TV Tropes

Then there is this quote which just made me LOL LOL LOL LOL

There is a strong implication that part of the reason why the Doctor fell for River Song so hard was because she reminded him of the Master while being actually redeemable.

This is now what the character of the Master will be remembered as in popular culture, and I can imagine in 20 years time when someone wants to revive DW and they won't know the first thing about it, they'll read this shit and think the Master is the Doctors version of Catwoman.

Its also the same with gender bending Time Lords, this nonsense that it was always part of the show, that the previous Doctors were genderless, and may not even have been male etc. Again I can imagine the papers referring to the Doctor as the gender bending alien and that becoming part of the characters image.

Basically that's what the New Who team have been doing from the start, changing shit, lying about it and then bullying fans with their ming mong remarks.

I seem to remember 4,5 and 6 using weapons. Davison went completely bonkers and shot the hell out of a Dalek in the warehouse. Why not show Paul Cornballs a clip of that? Why do people get so turned on by the idea that the Doctor should never use weapons? I always thought it was really cool when he went to town on people. It implied shit was seriously getting real. Didn't the 12th Doctor punch a bloke in the face? I seem to remember people thinking that was a stroke of genius.

All the Doctors used weapons. The thing I liked the most about the Doctor was that he was a practical hero, so of course he'd use weapons and lethal force if need be. No American Spider-Man, Superman moralising of I can't kill this guy even if he's going to kill thousands of people.

Okay yes there were a few times where he didn't shoot someone who was unarmed which is fair enough as that can come across badly, but even then they were few and far between.

Most of the time the Doctor uses weapons of some kind.

And I did post the infamous Doctor is gonna bust a cap in your ass video to Paul during the whole Who Against Guns fiasco. He responded by blocking me and retweeting someone who went on about how someone who tweets about this when little kids lives are at stake from guns is a sociopath Big Grin

Well I won't be watching Jodie's series, other than the odd clip online to laugh at. Its interesting to see how a great show can fall so far IMO, and should serve as a warning, not just to other tv shows, but society as a whole as to why its important not to let these types of people trample over things that mean a lot to people, even if it is just a tv show.

'The Doctor has always been about inclusion, and that we'll still recognise her as the Doctor, a hero that's nice to people, doesn't throw punches, and doesn't ever use guns.'

So fucking surprised that the person representing the supreme death of a beloved character entirely fails to understand the character. None of those defining traits are true. Even, 'a hero that's nice to people,' is misleading: the Doctor never specialised in 'saving the day', he was more interesting in exploration and learning. He most always had a strong moral compass, yet he was not always 'nice to people'.

At this point, speaking from a NuWho perspective - is there even a Doctor character any more? Aside from жer memories: what is there left? No physical traits remain, aside from being white and human-looking. Still has a British accent I suppose, though I don't know why they'd bother.
Then the 'personality' and morality is essentially just a reflection of the BBC's at any given time.
In fact, even жer memories are meaningless when they will just retcon past incarnations for political purpose.

What's the point?

Soy doesn't sell. Get Woke Go Broke is a meme because it's true.
And if Who production clique think James Gunn at SDCC was a shitshow, maybe they should start limiting their exposure with the Who team's own predatory lesbian pedo and notorious male pedo? The BBC tried to cover up Savile even after it all came out, in the current environment there is a massive risk of a Who scandal in 2018. Especially since they're being so smug and dishonest about everything.

No point other than to make money from merchandise sales and make the BBC appear 'right on'.

(BTW, I like: "the Doctor never specialised in 'saving the day', he was more interested in exploration and learning. He most always had a strong moral compass, yet he was not always 'nice to people'".  Well put and I'm in total agreement).

Thank you. That's what I've been saying for years. The thing that killed DW even more than the pandering to SJWs was this ridiculous idea that the Doctor can be anyone, and that there are no constants from incarnation to incarnation.

I know I've said this 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times but its true. There is a template to his character and you have to stick within that, or else what's the point? He's not a character, he's a name.

It was people like Paul Cornell however who came out with the all change is good mantra initially just to justify their own bullshit changes, like the lothario Doctor, the Doctor/Master gayfest and the PC brigade leapt on that to justify their changes.

It's very patronising and maternalistic too. "New best friends" she met eight seconds ago- it's a very insincere way of expressing one's self. "My new best friend" is what a creep calls his or her mark. "You have something I want so you're my new best friend."

Reveals much more of their real underlying psychology than the producers intended.

Actually, the Doctor is well over 2000 years old at this point. Which just makes that line all the more ridiculous.

Jodie says that her Doctor will finally teach young boys to look up to women.

Jodie Whittaker Young Boys

I actually would find this offensive if I were a woman in the entertainment industry.

Never mind Xena, Buffy, Charmed, etc the countless films, tv series and video games starring strong women apparently little boys have never looked up to ANY women?

So not any other types of entertainers then like Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, and Dusty Springfield? Not any scientists then like Marie Curie?

I guess i must have misread Tim Curry saying that Billie Holiday was his greatest inspiration, I must have misread, Sam Smith and Bruno Mars saying that Amy Winehouse inspired them growing up more than anyone?

I must have misread Freddie Mercury saying that Aretha Franklin was one of his biggest ever heroes. I must have misread the Rolling Stones citing Etta James as one of their biggest idols.

Hmm it seems that all of these ladies were just the warm up act. Jodie's castrated version of William Hartnell, begging people to be her friend, and gurning away like Bubble from Ab Fab is going to change how we see women forever!

Chinballs is pushing for a female James Bond too.

Doctor Who Team Want Jane Bond

What is it with these people? Why are they so obsessed with female versions of male heroes, more than original female heroes?

Only 2 possibilities.

1/ They are self loathing women (or deep down sexists if they are men) and think fundamentally that women ARE inferior to men and that no hero who was originally a woman can be interesting, or will ever be as iconic and beloved as a male hero, so the only way women can compete is if they were once men?

2/ They are bigots who want to take a role away from men because they hate them, and love (in their minds) making the manbabies heads explode.

Personally I think its the latter, but I'd LOVE to run the first option by these people.

Or why not push for a new female spy? Sorry, but these people are all cretinous pricks. Chibnall and Whittaker are absolutely deluded. She is under the illusion that men and boys seem to be afraid of women for some reason. We've seen from the trailer that the 13th Doctor is probably not going to be the best choice of a role model for anyone. It's only a matter of time before the character says something like "Can I add you all on Facebook pls?"
