Star Wars 8 news 'Hayden Christensen will return as Force ghost Anakin in The Last Jedi'

"THE LAST JEDI will be all about the Skywalker family" says Bob Iger, so expect to see Hayden Christensen back as the ghost of Anakin, aka Darth Vader.

Good for him, hopefully he'll get a chance to show what he can do with a director who knows how to handle actors and redeem himself a little.

I'd like to see a live action Clone Wars or Obi-Wan and Anakin movie with him and Ewan returning.

Jimmy Vee has officially taken over the role of R2-D2 from the late Kenny Baker. Vee did work as the character for The Force Awakens along with Baker and played the role in The Last Jedi.

Daisy Ridley was keeping Rey's new hairstyle secret during filming, wearing a towel over it whenever taking pictures or videos during breaks. I don't see what the big deal was about, the only real difference is that the back is let down now. Still nice.

Just thought I would check to see when the next Star Wars film is out and it's the Hans Solo one next year. I just can't see anyone doing a great job of replacing Harrison. I will probably be saying something different next year

We have The Last Jedi this December. If rumours are true we won't even be seeing a teaser trailer for it until the Star Wars Celebration convention in April. We had the Force Awakens teaser over a year before the movie came out. They could have put it before Rogue One but I guess they didn't want it to overshadow the film.

The actor playing Han seems to be a good actor so I'm not worried about him. He stole the show in Hail, Ceasar!

I agree with the first comment.
"This is a pitiful way to explain the character. I do not care if you liked him or not ( I didnt care for him) regardless he was still an extremely important character in the series. To say he went from being one of the most powerful senators in the galactic senate to being some lowly street performer is lazy writing."

Palpatine would have had him killed shortly after coming into power just to avoid the possibility of the fool screwing things up. To be honest the Aftermath books are pretty bad, some of the worst things in the current EU and even give some of the old books a run for their money. Wendig is a hack.

I'm not convinced, wikiwand looks to be just like wikipedia and imdb where anyone can edit it. A jigsaw or some other kind of merchandise for The Force Awakens described Finn as Lando's son and that turned out to be false.

Vicrum also doesn't sound like a Star Wars name to me.

Seeing him in the picture with his hair grown out a bit, he looks closer to the part than I thought he would.

It currently has a release date of 25th May, 2018, rather than the December release the other Disney Star Wars movies had.

Also, a better look at the image on the merchandise.

This guy does a killer Harrison Ford impression and even played a younger version of his characters in the flashback scenes of Age of Adalaine. I don't know if he was ever seriously considered for Han Solo or not. I could see it feeling forced if he had to do it for an entire movie.

Good Impression; not sure about everything he was doing with his eyebrows, they seemed a little overactive at times

I also only noticed today that Rey has a new wound above her eye on the merchandise image.

Descriptions of teaser trailer scenes are going around the internet, how much truth is in them will remain to be seen, but Snoke is reportedly 7-8 feet tall and is done with practical effects said to look much better than his hologram in The Force Awakens.

A new novel has been announced titled "Star Wars: Inferno Squad", set right after the end of Rogue One.
