Does anyone else think Val Kilmer was a good Batman?

I thought he was OK, though far from the best, and he wasn’t helped by the fact that he was in a relatively crap film.

I do. I also think Batman Forever is a very underrated film.

I thought Kilmer was fine in the role.

I didn't care for the film itself and really disliked Carey and Lee Jones in their respective roles.

From what I remember I'd say he was probably a 'could've been' great Batman but sadly didn't stick around long enough to cement himself iconically in the way Keaton and Bale did. Unfortunately much of his one-shot film seemed to go by too fast to make an impression.

He at least (again based on memory) seemed to take the part more seriously than Clooney did.

A bit of an unpopular opinion but I actually kind of like Batman Forever, its not as good or exciting as the Burton films but its still an entertaining flick.

I though Kilmer was an 'meh' Batman but I liked his Bruce Wayne and thought he was more accurate to the Wayne of the comics than Keaton.
