Just watched Inferno again this afternoon: a truly cracking tale, as always.
One thing that came across to me this time was not just how much is crammed into the opening episode yet it never feels cluttered, but also how well-directed the opening scene is. Pertwee's Doctor singing opera to himself in Bessie would normally be a highly-comic sequence but the way it's filmed, with the car and its driver subsequently looking tiny and out-of-place among the looming smokestacks which dominate the shot, gives the viewer an ominous feeling. It also foreshadows the events of the story and its environmental concerns very neatly.
Any similar scenes in Tru Who particularly stand out for people?
