This has to be one of them.
(SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't seen the film Dredd to the end)
It is an incredibly haunting sequence, despite the cruel nature of the character involved. Somehow it conveys the cruel futility of existence in that hope-starved future world, and the finality of the end.

The Penguin's death scene is particularly well done. The music from Danny Elfman is outstanding.

I haven't seen either for yeaars but the final death scenes in Bonnie and Clyde (1967) and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and the killing of Sonny Corleone and Clemenza in the Godfather. They don't kill people like they did in the olden days ...
