Earle Hyman has passed. Never watched the Cosby Show all that much but he was also the voice of Panthro on Thundercats, which was a fixture of Sunday afternoons and later Saturday mornings on BBC ONE

Sad to hear of John Mahoney's passing. Always loved Frasier, it was one of my favourite series and as a child he was my favourite character.

He was great in Frasier. Quite surprising to find out he was from Blackpool.

Director Lewis Gilbert, perhaps most famous for directing the glorious Roger Moore James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, has died aged 97. Gilbert also directed many other films including Alfie, Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine. RIP.

His Bond films were classics. I know Spy is considered the pinnacle of the Moore era but I actually think Moonraker is just as good if not better. He also directed the underrated You Only Live Twice.

Fuck, I'm glad it's not just me that loves the hell out of Moonraker...

It's an absolute blast! Even the silly stuff I dig because of how fun and insane it is. And Holly Goodhead was one of the finest babes ever to appear in the Bond franchise She kicked ass too. My disappoint with For Your Eyes Only was mainly down to it being so dour compared to the fantasy heights of its predecessor.

Moonraker has the best soundtrack to any Bond film in my humble opinion.

Barry's Flight into Space is a masterpiece. Absolutely spine-chilling and majestic.
