I'm going to go with Moffat. Yes I do despise Whovian Feminism and that fucking hack Rachel Talalalalalallaaly but they would never have had the power over it, had it not been for Mofftwat. He is the lynchpin for the death of Doctor Who IMO.

Steven Moffat completely desecrated William Hartnell's legacy by retconning his Doctor into acting like a horrible sexist pig. That alone makes him the biggest piece of shit in my eyes.

Frankly, I'm still absolutely shocked that more people aren't incredibly pissed off by this. When I first heard about this, I was expecting there to be some kind of mass outrage among Doctor Who fans.

But, nope! The vast majority of fans were fairly indifferent towards the whole situation for some bizarre reason.

They either didn't know any better because they've never watched a single episode of Classic Who in their entire life, they tried to rationalise it with a bunch of incredibly lame excuses, or they just simply didn't care. Only a small minority of hardcore Classic Who fans actually seemed to be bothered by it.  

You'd think the desecration of the 1st ever incarnation of one of the most iconic Sci-Fi characters of all time would be a really huge issue among Doctor Who fans... but apparently not.

Just goes to show that 90% of NuWho fans are halfwits who couldn't give a rat's ass about the show's origins.

Rasputin's Testicular Discharge for me. If that cunt hadn't brought the show back it wouldn't be the fucking mess it is today, and the legacy kept pure. He pandered it to the ignorant lower class masses with fart jokes and characters of low asperation. He didn't want the audience to think for themselves so got Murry Gold to tell them how to feel. He wrote stories paper thin to hold their low attention spans and kept any actual science out.

And now we learn what he did to Eccles. The man should never work in TV again.

They're all terrible. Whittaker is so annoying at the moment and I predict that she'll get even more smug when series 11 airs.

I'm inclined to agree. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that the postmodernists would have infiltrated the show in some other way (either by perverting old Who on BF, or shredding it to pieces as some kind of toxic anathema to all decent social justice-loving people).

So I'm giving my 'best turd' award to pubehead. Not because he's some kind of pomo, identitarian slug, but because he yielded to social media pressure every time his work was questioned in terms of race, sex class or gender. He wimped out of confronting their bullshit and the stupid diversity quota-obsessed producers and executives at the beeb.

This is the Hive conversation of choice, but it's always worth re-establishing. I would have said Moffat hands-down but RTD, who until recently seemed to have had a certain dignified silence whilst he dealt with personal issues, has now started making comments as moronic as many of the stories he created and is making me think again. The one thing his era had was a certain consistency in its inconsistency - tone was all over the place in Rose and it was all over the place in The End Of Time.

Talalay is well in contention simply for Death In Heaven and like RTD she keeps baiting people lately. Whittaker is doing everything possible to lose all credibility before she's even started.

Is Michael Grade not still a contender for the biggest pile of used food in Dr Who history? Without him even RTD might not have been a factor! I'd rather the show had been cancelled for good after one more season of McCoy, for low ratings or whatever, than what transpired.

As much as I hate the RTD era, Moffat just pips him to the title of this thread. There's just something about Moffat which oozes smugness. Both RTD and Moffat however have made the Doctor into a character who values confidence and extroversion in his companions (preferably female). I get the feeling that both RTD and Moffat impressed their own preference for exuberant and confident people on the Doctor. They both made the Doctor a character who would prefer to be with company (preferably human) than a solitary explorer of the Fourth Dimension.

Chris Chibnall I have no opinion on. Paul Cornell, I've never read any of his novels (I never read any of the NA's and as they seem to preconfigure Nuwho in some respects and are celebrated by some Nuwho supporters I have no inclination to read them) but he seems to have carried on the trend of emotionizling the Doctor into something recognizably human. A Doctor Who fan I respect a lot said that Human Nature makes no sense in the context of the tenth Doctor as he is already the most humanized of the Doctor's.

As for those bloggers I have no interest in reading the views of young bitches espousing their male hatred.

Its so annoying the way practically the only people who are willing to call out this SJW crap always say that its Marxism. Its not! Its created by people like George Bloody Soros and Hillary Clinton.

Like most problems in the world, the SJW movement has been perpetuated by American culture and ignorance. I believe the whole Gamer Gate, started by Anita Sarcosy is what really brought the SJW shitheads out of the woodwork.

I'd also argue that the lack of debating ettiquate so visably present in American media is the reason why these people cannot be talked to. Watch CNN or Fox compared to the BBC and you will see what I mean. American's don't debate, just shout over one another.

I appreciate my views are likely influenced by my own strong anti American biase, but I firmly believe that the route cause of the SJW movement does come mainly from all the negative aspects of American culture, and has spread because of Americanisation in our own cultures through the acceptance of American media, American influence in our news and the internet.
