Who are your favorite writers of tru who?

Holmes and Dicks aside, I would say Chris Boucher and Robert Banks Stewart.

The Face Of Evil and The Robots Of Death are both intelligent, well crafted, written and performed serials which still hold up well today and his work on Blake's 7 was pretty good as well.

Terror Of The Zygons is pretty good (albeit quite overrated IMO) but The Seeds Of Doom is excellent. A genuinely terrifying tale that has Tom Baker's best performance.

Holmes, Dicks, Hulke, Boucher, Banks-Stewart, Don Houghton.

Bidmead and Boucher. I like Boucher's Blakes 7 stuff too. Weapon has always been a favorite of mine.

They should've let him become showrunner for at least 5 years and write every single story full of gun runners & mercenary characters, with the Doctor siding with the monsters and slaughtering them all in huge body count splattergore extravaganza climaxes before preaching about how he had tried to warn humanity about the errors of their foolish ways in the final scene.
