Which is the best story of Tennant’s third year? I’m opting for Midnight, though I think it and Silence in the Library are amongst the best of the era. I can take or leave the rest of the season (barring Planet Of The Ood and Turn Left, which are OK), and Voyage of the Damned, Partners in Crime and Journey’s End are all utterly abysmal (though it’s mainly part 2 of the finale I really dislike as opposed to part 1). Though it is probably my favourite season of Tennant’s era, not that that says too much.

I voted Silence.
Still, it would be nice if everything else it hinted at had been left to the imagination.

Midnight. I'd argue that it's one of the most important stories in Doctor Who and has such an intelligent analysis on human nature and fear. My second favourite story in NewWho.

Season 4 was when my patience with Nu Who ran out so I had less involvement with it, tho Midnight was an enjoyable one-off. Ironically I was lured back in time for the Capaldi era, when my suffering exceeded that of the rtd years.

Such a dire season.
Turn Left is really the only one that has anything about it.
