I've found it remarkably easy to drop completely this season.
But then, they no longer have a character that even remotely resembles the Doctor in it anymore, so perhaps that's not such a surprise.

I can sum up this review with "GEEZ A JOB BBC". Its hilarious the way he is happy to sell out other young white men who the BBC won't hire because of their diversity policies just so he can get a job.

God the Rosa episode looks like such a cringe fest. Almost tempted to watch for that reason, but to be honest I hate the thing so much I couldn't stomach it. It was better not watching it last week and just hearing about how awful it was from friends, so I'll do the same this week.

Now there is nothing even remotely appealing or, frankly, Doctor Who-y about it. How can there be, when the Doctor isn't even present anymore?

I watched a bit of the Chase and then Merlin instead. Not the 2008 version but the 98 tv movie. It was quite good. Definite highlight was Miranda Richardson's hamtastic performance as Queen Mab. She was really sexy as Queen Mab too. I also found out she inspired Alti from Xena (you can tell by the voice.) Not sure who's sexier though?




Tough call but I'm going to say Alti. She'd do more horrible things to you.

Miranda would have made an amazing Rani in a proper revival of DW, instead of the bad fanfic we've been subject too for the past few years.

As for True Who, I'm currently in the middle of Troughton in my rewatch. Next one is Tomb of the Cybermen. I think I'll save that for when Rosa is on. It would be hilarious to watch an episode the SJW lunatics go on about being racist for stupid reasons whilst what looks like the ultimate SJW episode is on.

Indeed, I'm finding it incredibly easy to miss now it's on a Sunday, unless you're a Strictly freak tuning in early, it's incredibly easy to miss all indication of the rubbish.

I've seen the odd trailer, but there's little that makes me actually want to watch - I saw a clippit with the new TARDIS on youtube and it looked utter fucking shite.

I can't see what possible inclination there is to tune in at all...

I think those of us here who are actually braving watching this shite are on some kind of masochistic self-torment exercise or something...I think I'd rather pick up a mallet and beat myself around the head.

Yeah definite resemblance. I would have loved to have seen her as Queen Mab in season 7 of Once. Would have been much better than bloody Rapunzel as the main villain.
