Story I.D?

I need help trying to figure out the name of a story and I don't have much to go on. I saw the episodes early on a saturday morning at least a decade ago on UK Gold but I was too late to see the whole thing. The story was a fourth Doctor story and the only part I remember was that a scene took place in a cave and the Doctor tied his scarf around a couple of rocks and tripped the monster up with it. The monster possibly looked like some kind of rock monster, but I'm not sure about that.

I remember asking Mike about it years ago and even he was stumped, does anyone have any idea what the story was?

Well that was quick. I have Hand of fear on DVD and I'm going to be so mad if the story that's bugged me all this time is one I've not only seen multiple times but own. Pigs are going to be kicked.

Just watched the clip online and that has to be it. Fucking how? HOW? I remember vividly that it was just the Doctor on his own and the scarf was tied around rocks, but then I saw the clip and I'm like "that's it."

I'm mad. I even googled it and couldn't find anything and then boom; a minute after I ask, you have the answer and it's one I fucking have.
