I can't walk upstairs sometimes wearing jeans

Anybody else get this? More likely to happen with a belt. There’s an area on campus where it’s more convenient to climb some stairs than walk around by the slope and I cannot ever use it and shave off those vital few seconds because it invites pure chaos.
