GO.
I'm going to say
10/ Ash Vs Evil Dead
Great series overall. Fantastic cast made up of cult royalty like Lucy Lawless and Bruce Campbell and brilliant new comers like Dana Delorenzo, the shows humour is fantastic, its genuinely frightening in places and its monster and gore effects are first class.
It doesn't really bring anything new to the Evil Dead canon, but its still lots of fun nonetheless.
9/ The Flash
Its gone down the SJW route recently sadly, but in its prime this was one of my favourite super hero shows. In fact I'd say its among the top 5. Its cast were brilliant and had a wonderful chemistry with each other, it had a terrific rogues gallery, and some legendary villain actors like Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown and Tony Todd making appearances.
It was let down however even before the SJW crap "HASHTAG FEMINISM" by somewhat repetitive stories.
8/ Charmed
A very iconic and influential series. I preferred the earlier years with Shannen Doherty myself. I think the best series is 3 which is when the Cole story arc was at its strongest. 5 was the weakest.
7/ Being Human
Probably the darkest British genre series since Blake's 7. I won't reveal too much but lets say its ending is one of the most genuinely frightening things I've ever seen in a Vampire show. It had some really surprising and bold twists and turns, and had two stellar casts that really gelled. My favourite series is 4 which can hold its own with any Vampire series.
6/ Primeval
I think it had the best premise of any sci fi series of the past 20 years. The anomalies allow your main characters to visit any time and place. What other show can have Dinosaurs in the future, or the beaches of D-day or in ancient Rome, or Victorian London! It maintained a strong quality over the its long run, but sadly was beset by many outside problems, such as the New Who cunts slandering it, ITV cancelling it because it was too expensive, and cast members like Douglas Henshall jumping ship.
5/ Once Upon A Time
It didn't come to the best end. In fact its last series, series 7 was SHIT. Still at its best this was a very unique and imaginative series, and it provided some highly original and interesting takes on classic characters like Peter Pan, Rumplestiltskin, The Evil Queen, Snow White and Captain Hook.
The Pan story arc IMO can hold up with the best story arcs from any series like the Angelus story arc in Buffy, the Khan story arc in Star Trek etc. Also Robert Carlyle and Lana Parilla surely have earned their place among the best genre leads for their performances in the series.
4/ Xena the Warrior Princess
Sadly this seems to be the one everybody overlooks? I don't know why as if nothing else I'd say Lucy Lawless is a candidate for the greatest genre lead of all time alongside William Shatner and Tom Baker.
Like those 2 fine gentleman she is a shameless ham who elevates even the poorest stories, but she is also a great actor for the best scripts.
Xena also had some of the best villains like Callisto, who is up there with Khan and Davros (Personally I'd say she is better than any version of the Master.)
It had a very poor 5 season (further proving the 5th season curse of American genre series.) But overall it was a classic show.
3/ Futurama
Definitely the best sci fi series (which is ironic given that its a comedy.) Futurama had good strong interesting storylines, clever humour and surprisingly some incredibly touching moments.
Episodes like Jurassic Bark, Leela's Homeworld, and the Luck of Fryish are some of the most beautiful, poignant pieces of television I've ever seen. Futurama was one of the best comedy, sci fi and animated series of all time.
2/ Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Obviously this had to be there. Buffy was the most influential series of its generation. It blended the fantastic with the ordinary to a greater extent than any other series before or after it, had one of the greatest rogues galleries of any tv series (it probably has the best after Classic Who itself.) And had a wonderful cast of characters who were very well developed over its 7 year run.
1/ Angel
It might not have been as ground breaking as Buffy but I actually preferred it. I preferred Angel as a character, it was a bit more bleak and pessimistic, it had the best ending of any genre series, and I think it not only broke the American genre series 5th season rule, but it I'd say the 5th season of Angel is Joss Whedon's best work on either film or tv.
The 5 worst genre series meanwhile would be.
5/ Legends of Tomorrow
I wanted to like this show I really did, but its a lot of SJW crap, it killed off its best character (Captain Cold) in its first season (Seriously whose dumb idea was it to get rid of Wentworth Miller? It would be like if Avon had been killed in season 1 of Blake's 7!) It has some interesting ideas, but its just too smug for my liking.
4/ Torchwood
As much as I like John Barrowman, this really was the pits. Its first season contains some laughable monsters like the sex gas monster, the notorious "have you ever cummed so hard you forgot where you were" and the Cyberwoman with big metal tits.
Its like that weird Billy Baggs Zygon porno movie with a bigger budget and stupider scripts.
3/ Supergirl
Dear god this series is to superhero shows what Jodie's era is to New Who. Its got paper thin plots, smug unlikable characters going on about how much they hate white men, and the writers lecturing us the little morons at home why racism is bad.
2/ Class
Racist, tedious, badly made garbage with the lamest monsters and lead characters with no personalities apart from Katherine Kelly who hammed it up too much to overcompensate.
1/ Doctor Who
It would be unfair to have New Who in total be one of the worst, so I'll just say from 2014 on which is when the notorious vandalization of Classic Who and pandering to morons began. Its reached new lows with Jodie Pisstaker.
