Little hard to care since the moment they paraded The War Doctor and River Song 4 years ago was where I got off the TARDIS altogether. Still not touching either with even a broken Dalek gun.

I'd care about the 8th audios if Briggs can stop giving proverbial handies to Moffat by shoving the frizzy haired bitch into the box sets. Same for Dollar Tree!Joan Cusack (i.e. Missy)

Half tempted to given Benny and Warner!3rd a go though I want more of Benny's stories solo or at least have her adjustting to adventures without Brax being alive*

*still maintaining he died in the Time War as his comeuppance for manipulating Peter into killing Jason Kane

FYI, there are some significant discounts on offer to commemorate the 20th anniversary. The first Philip Hinchcliffe box set is down from the ludicrous £45 to £18 with code SIRENS20.

Listening to a Walrus fart for two hours would be a much more preferable way to spend my time.

The chat's been entertaining...someone posed as Trilbee and kept getting himself banned by calling the stories rubbish and praising the new content LOL

(though he's not wrong whoever he is, some of the stories they're selecting are a little off)

Imagine spunking away a Saturday afternoon parodying someone. What a complete loser.

I managed to download the stream from last night, currently working on splitting the more complete stories up into individual segments and upload them

Thinking of announcing it on Youtube with "Big Finish...don't forget to put your shields up" LOL

Big Finish have now pulled both streams. Too little, too late, I downloaded both parts and now I have plenty of free stuff LOL

Eleven and Twelve meet in an upcoming Big Finish short trip...both are of course played by impersonators

Great. They're shoehorning yet another companion who never was in between Sarah and Leela. After 2021, there'll be no more contributions from classic series writers in Tom's range for at least the next two years.

I'd rather listen to a man screaming in pleasure as his sweaty ballsack gets tickled by an Umpa Lumpa than listen to anything from Big Finish again.

Credit where it's due, Big Finish are still delivering some worthwhile releases. Colin and Nicola have reunited for a new Dalek story by Andrew Smith, and two more lost stories from Season 21 and 23 are coming in November.

Over the last couple of weeks I've been gradually working my way through the Dalek Empire quadrilogy. Currently half way through Dalek Empire III.
It's been years since I listened to this and it does not disappoint. I always felt that with a few exceptions, the BF spin-offs were largely better than their main Dr Who range, and relistening to this only confirms that. It's very good stuff indeed.
I remember being a bit disappointed by Dalek Empire IV, but it will be interesting to give it a second chance.

Finally finished Dalek Empire III.
It was pretty good overall, but spoiled by a terribly weak and predictable ending, with David Tennant sounding far too much like he was playing his Doctor. Lol
I remember thinking that the final series Dalek Empire IV was by far the weakest, but I'll still be interested to hear it again after such a long time. Dalek Empire II has gone up in my estimation, whilst III has gone down. But I still think the first one is the best.
Meanwhile, I just got some Target audio books from the library. Day of the Daleks, Claws of Axos, and the Tenth Planet.

I recall I was really impressed by Dalek Empire III after listening to the final chapter. But over time its sheer inconclusiveness started to really nag me, and it kind of leaves a nasty aftertaste with me that it's still not been followed up. It feels almost like Nick just reached a particular point with it and then just gave up telling the story, or that he kind of ended up skewing the final catharsis by trying to be too clever with his ambiguity for the sake of it.

And I began to feel that although in many ways III had been a great ride, it was really II where it had reached its natural conclusion (or at least a cliffhanger that could've neatly fed into a typical main range Doctor Who Dalek story like Enemy of the Daleks).

I wish you luck with Dalek Empire IV. I'll just say for now it was my least favourite too, but maybe a second listen will bear some rewards.
