"Is there a justifiable difference between a government directly launching chemical attacks against its own people, and a government slowly killing its own people through neglect or the actions of police forces?
It reminds me of how more people die from lack of access to clean water and basic medicine (such as antibiotics) than have died from any act of genocide or war crimes. If loss of human life is the concern, then why not be as proactive against one as against the other?"
