Apocalypse Snow

So go on then - who's had the worst weather experiences in the past few days (I'll take a guess it isn't Ian!)

We've had some pretty extreme rain the last few days, mind. (It's good, though, cause we've had a drought for ages. That seems to be over now!).

Nothing major. A dusting yesterday and about 3-4cm today. Bit coming tomorrow, but not the apocalypse supposedly occurring in other areas.

I remember 1982 - that was proper snow.

Went to the cinema yesterday, came out and the buses had been cancelled and Taxis taken, walking back was a pain. I was supposed to go up to London today but coaches in and out of Bournemouth have been cancelled and SWR are getting uppity.

Normally the Midlands (not where I am, anyway) and the South East don't seem to have the worst of it, but this time Storm Emma and the Beast From The East have got us in pincer movement.
