As was revealed a couple of years ago, the actor had to leave because of mental health issues.

Sad to hear this, he was great. Died young too, 60. Only a few years back, sheesh!

Most of B5's cast has had a right bollocking from the Grim Reaper

The best sci-fi show ever made. JMS has wanted to reboot for some time now. I wish WB would get on and let him.

I have been watching Babylon 5 for the first time. Finished the series, got the TV movies left after I finish this, anybody remember that?

Can't say I am really enjoying Babylon 5. It has its moments. G'Kar and Lando are great - till they get friendly. But overall, it isn't really for me. Kind of disappointed Crusade didn't even get to finish their first series before getting pulled, though.

Does anyone else think Gary Coleman was utterly miscast? I was reading how Straczysnki wanted Micheal York to play Gideon which makes sense but it did make me laugh. All the talk about DS9 stealing the Straczysnki's idea for B5 and then two years after ST:TNG ends he wants to cast a plummy British actor to Capt. a spaceship

The TV movies are alright, best of the bunch is In The Beginning and maybe River of Souls (Martin Sheen's in that one)

Try watching "The Lost Tales", much shorter stories but they're really good, and one of them's another B5/Crusade crossover
