Never heard of the guy before, I've been going through the popular tracks playlist on youtube, but it isn't bad.

That's not the kind of thing I would usually listen to but I like that

I also found out Depeche Mode have a new single/album out. It wasn't their best song.

The other recap raps are pretty good too, shame there isn't a nuwho recap.

I bought both the 1990's Iggy Pop distorted remaster of Raw Power and Mishima by Philip Glass which I'm listening a lot to.

A number of bands on my ipod the past few days : -
Sugar, from the 1990s, fronted by Husker Du's Bob Mould. Their debut, Copper Blue, is a hard-rock classic, though very treble-y. Highlight for me is "Slick", a disturbing song about the survivor of a car crash - is the protagonist falling unconscious or dying at the end?
ELO's Out Of The Blue. As people on this forum will know I'm no Fab 4 fan but this is a wonderful, life-affirming double-album. I certainly think it's a shame the Beatles-influenced Jeff Lynne isn't given the same status as his heroes - his records are written, sung, played and produced beautifully. I recommend "Sweet Is The Night" as a pre-summer cockle-warmer.
Doctors Of Madness. An obscure mid-late 70s glam/punk band with a healthy disregard for the establishment and a curious world view. "Bulletin" from their 3rd & final LP is a mighty kick up the backside and still relevant today.

That Iggy remix version of Raw Power is enough to disintegrate speakers and eardrums - I have it too!
I was interesting in getting Philip Glass's Low trilogy, any good?

Magnificent dub-jungle-techno fusion on Metalheadz from about 3 years ago. The album is definitely worth a gander. Short, but sweet.
