I had a strange dream last night which involved Charles Dance dressed as a window cleaner. He'd been hired as an entertainer for my birthday

What strange dreams have you had in the past?


There was a dream I remember from my childhood where a figure was outside the front door dressed only in my dressing gown. My vision was filled with a strong red tint and the words "iced" appeared as he waved. I played The Godfather on PS2 a lot as a kid and that always happened when you died.

When I was 8 I dreamt that my gran was having it off with Bill Hartnell .

i dreamt the other night about joaquin phoenix giving a lecture on phonetics before it turned into a sex ed class before he began to teach us that the foreskin apparently houses its own clitoris that looks a lot like the inner head/tongue in the alien films

I once met BB King on a steam engine. On another occasion, I had to dip my fingers in jam in order to help the crew of the starship Enterprise defeat an alien menace.

Three from my childhood:-

A recurring dream in which I had to escape from a ghost by hiding behind my uncle's massive Darth Vader action figure.

A one-off in which I dreamt that Margaret Thatcher was pissing off the end of a pier, only to wake up and find that I'd wet the bed.

Another recurring job in which I was in bed being menaced by red eyes with a pair of hands reaching out to strangle me. I would then leap out of bed to run down the stairs, at which point I began moving in slow motion, then jumped and landed at the bottom. Turning to look up the stairs, I could see before me the menacing, dark, glowing-eyed figure...wearing a blue and white striped bobblehat. The dream often ended here, but on some occasions it would extend to a sequence in which I had to walk into another room occupied by a sort of tree monster thing in the corner to which I would have to throw peanuts in order to pass through.

Here are a few I recently had:
After venturing into University for the first time in said dream, I suddenly re-lived the entire narrative of Franz Kafka’s ‘The Trial’.

Another one featured myself regressing to the age of 7 years old, and confronting a superficially aged yet oddly childlike version of Moffat in a school playground who’s voice seemed bizarrly high pitched (to be honest, he might have been Joe Pesci from GoodFellas for all I know, though the next bit indicates it was Moffat). I explained to him that the success of the Classic Series, and Talons specifically, relied on literary influence, and that his Who related ideas were ‘rubbish’ in comparison- he proceeded to throttle me to the ground with a very embarrassed and self-loathing look, before Boris Johnson randomly showed up. Fuck knows what the point of it was.

Another one featured my venturing into a mystical looking castle seeking purpose after being abandoned (similar to the castle in Cocteau’s ‘La Belle et la Béte’), where I encountered a seemingly viscious wolf-like animal I was forced to desperately tame. After restraining it and escorting it into the isolated woods, it began speaking to me, and eerily in my exact voice. I then let it go, and starting hearing a specific track from the “Air- Moon Safari’ album playing in the distance (a musical staple of childhood), before waking up very abruptly. The most Jungian dream I’ve ever experienced.

I had a dream last night where I was in love with this girl and her crazy mother came at me with a knife when I visited  her house!

I had a dream I was sucking on Samantha Fox's tits last night. Certainly made a pleasant change from the wacky nonsense I usually dream about.
