The Underwater Menace

I was surprised to see this in my local library yesterday, so I've loaned it out as I never got round to buying it.
Not watched it yet, but I was surprised to see that two episodes of this are just a recon. I thought they'd be animated. The fucking cheapskates!
Anyway, any thoughts on this story or the dvd itself, before I watch it?

I never bought the DVD, though have heard that the reconstructions are utter shite and incredibly lazily put together from basically every source I’ve encountered. I’ve not seen it, mind, so I can’t assert as much for definite, but that seems to be the general consensus.

One of my absolute favourite Troughton adventures. So surreal.

I like episode 3.

The recons are pure fucking piss-takery of the highest order.
