To be fair, it was a single screening in one location where 100% of the ticket sales went to charity, taking place after the opening weekend. As someone who always complains about SJW kicking up a fuss and demanding their own way, I thought you'd appreciate the poetry of the other side doing the exact same thing and equally blowing things out of proportion. Suddenly men whine on the internet about a non-issue and there's no problem.

Anyone living around that cinema would have been able to see the movie there, especially the people wanting to see it opening day/weekend. At most there was a 2 and a half hour time period where men couldn't see the film and that's only in the unlikely scenario where they were only showing a big blockbuster on a single screen. Men weren't being denied access outside of a single screening outside of peak viewing, at most they were midly inconvenienced. How did the whining men reply? By demanding entire runs of films like Star Wars were for men only. One is gender discrimination, the other is nothing unless you purposefuly go out of your way to make it a problem. Ladies nights have been a thing in pubs and clubs for how long and they've never been a problem, but a single showing of a movie for a good cause is enough to make people around the world shit their pants in outrage?

As much as SJW culture as much as the next person but it goes both ways. I find it funny that the only thing that came from these people bitching were more women only screenings being shown around America. Don't give those people what they want, amiright?

Of course he won't. He's been writing crappy scripts to please his own fetishes for decades now and has been getting away with it because of his claims of feminism. His Wonder Woman script was from ~2006 but the same things people are now complaining about have been shown in both Avengers movies and Dollhouse. I want to say the recent controversy will lead to people wising up to his shit but that's giving them too much credit.

Some people complaining about the script still don't realise it has nothing to do with the released Wonder Woman movie, hopefully WB will be scared enough about their future profits to fire him from Batwoman/Batgirl before it enters active production. This is the same company that panicked after BvS and had a trailer company re-edit the entire Suicide Squad movie, I believe it's possible they'll get rid of him over this.

Since he'll be covering the post-production of Justice League, I guess it all depends on if that gets a better reception than the other Snyder directed movies.

Its just so annoying when people try and make out that's the only thing that's different about the Doctor being a woman. There are so many aspects of his character that only work if he is a man. For instance his relationships with women. I always liked the fact that the Doctor was one of the few male characters who actually just liked women for who they were.

Unlike say Bond who is just a lothario, or even Batman and Angel, where all the women have to be romantically involved with him (even if its just sexual tension) the Doctor was a man who had genuinely platonic relationships with young women and respected them. It was a great dynamic. Now fair enough new who fucked this with their tedious Doctor/romance companion drivel, but this has once again been the final nail in the coffin.
