Mods - A proposal.

My proposal is that Burrunjor's posts be limited to 600 characters.

It's for his own benefit. I'm hoping he'll become a veritable Hemmingway.

In all seriousness, I think it's easy for those who've bore the brunt of Gormless Bastards to get a bit stuck in defensive mode in their postings, and try to excessively cover every angle and fort they can.

I've had to learn the hard way that succinctness is key.

Well, not cruel, but discovering your inner editor is undoubtedly a good thing.

One should only really man the fort when shots are fired, otherwise it's just a waste of good men.

I can't really be in a position to complain. I'm sure some of my replies have waffled on tangents a bit and played their part in causing the back-and-forth to get chunky and over-length. It takes two to tango and all that.

So it's equally on me to try and learn how to wind things down better.

Sometimes the skyscraper of text approach is justified, but needless exposition and repetition makes me want to tear my eyes out and stamp on them.

Everyone does it now and again.

That's his thing, though. It just wouldn't be Burrunjor if he limited the characters in his posts. I find it endearing actually.
