We are to be caged-disengaged in our homes, our imaginations to soothe: our food for function.
No ambulation to credit.
Love in boxes.

Maybe we can use that time to ramble in the countryside, walk the trails, and turn the high streets into much-needed housing?

Not sure if the superseding of the high street is part of a conspiracy to keep us in our own homes, but more of a question of convenience and obsolescence.

Still, it's an interesting notion, I'll give you that. You could use it to lend some prescience to the opening chapters of a dark science-fiction novel where people end up in a dystopian society controlled by curfew-enforcing drones.
