I remember that scene well. What a desperate attempt to get down with the kids.

This episode was arguably worse.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Just to be clear its not because I fancy Ingrid Oliver.

I fancy Lucy Lawless A LOT and dear god does she get killed horribly in everything she has ever been in. (She has a rather bad habit of losing her head in her most famous roles LOL.)

I've already been over why this scene is appallingly written and directed many times so I won't bore you all again LOL. I'll just say its like two comedy moments.

One from the Simpsons where they escape Mr Burns by jumping down a shaft and he's already there at the bottom ten seconds later with no explanation (how the fuck does Missy appear behind Osgood from the other end of the room, or put the cuffs in her from across the room?)

Two, from The Holy Grail where John Cleese stabs one guard whilst the other doesn't notice and starts explaining why they aren't allowed to leave the room (the fact that neither of the guards notice Missy getting free, and the final one doesn't react when she shoots the guard next to him LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL )

Reminds me of this bit from Still Game.

Yeah its great. One of the best British sitcoms of all time. The first run of seven series or so is gold. The revival has been a bit up and down though. I wasn't sure about the one tonight. Also the last series had their worst ever episode. The one with Craig Ferguson. A shame as he is a good comedy actor. (His guest appearance on Red Dwarf as Lister's confidence is legendary.) Sadly they wasted him in that last series.

Its probably for the best its finishing. Its better to bow out as McCoy before you turn in Tennant, or Jodie.

That insultingly cheap cliffhanger at the end of The Magician's Apprentice.  Rolling Eyes

Am I REALLY about to kill off 2/3 of the main cast only one week in???
Will the Doctor actually murder a ten-year-old boy?????
Stay tuned to find out!

Thereby ceasing any and all reason for classic fans to stick with this joke.

Nuwho has never been a continuation of Doctor Who.
With it's Doctor/Companion romances, the Doctor getting married & time lord gender changes it has more in common with the curse of fatal death - a parody of Doctor Who than Doctor Who itself.
