Bit of neuro never goes amiss.
I'm in more of a summery mood right now.

Hospital Records are great. Summer can do, though: hayfever, sweating, insomnia, sunburn - I am not a summer person.

Used to tune into Hazard on Kool (a lot) back at the turn of the century.

For me, that was a golden era in Drum and Bass. I don't really keep up with it now. Like something a bit more mellow if I have been smoking. There is some good breakbeat out there. Hidden Orchestra and Ocoeur are rather good.

I listen to quite a wide range of music from metal to avant-garde, but breakbeat-based music will always be my one and true love.
Oddly enough, I went through a breakbeat (genre) phase just after the millennium, and discovered PMT, FreQ Nasty, Meat Katie, etc. Gyromancer was a track that totally hypnotised me at the time.
5:16 is aural sex.
My tastes have become harder over the last few years. Maybe it's the times we live in and the way I'm feeling, but drumfunk kind of plugs that anger hole for me, especially the experimental stuff coming out on Pinecone Moonshine and a lot of the heavy, funky stuff on Scientific Wax.
(Photek feels)
On a milder note, I do enjoy some liquid d&b, but more futuristic, synthy stuff than the cheesier anthems and heavily commercialised crossover tunes. Hospital and Offworld are probably my favourite liquid labels.
I love this tune.

Thanks for posting that PMT Gyromancer one, hadn't heard that. Si Begg, Sun of the Electric Ghost, Autobots, Eskmo, Lawgiverz, Chris Carter, Future Funk Squad, Meat Katie. Ctrl-Z - all good
I used to enjoy a lot of Renegade Hardware stuff but just grew out of it, I guess.

Connected with this track in a way I haven't experienced for some time. Five star DnB.
