What Pisses You Off

Sometimes I hate Windows Movie Maker so much. Not only does it leave frames in you don't want and can't see in the window or the preview, but you edit something perfectly to have song lyrics playing over a certain scene, and then you save the video and it's completely out of sync and totally spoils what you're trying to do.
There's a special room in Hell for whoever designed it like this.

I use the free version of Filmora9 myself. Very easy to use and far less buggy than other software I've used in the past.

As for things that piss me of:

When people don't ask me any questions in a conversation. I like to roll out questions like "how are you?" and "what are you up to?" pretty early on, but I never get them back in return. They're more than happy to waffle on about themselves until the cows come home, though.

Limited Edition items. This is blackmail of the highest order. I don't see why something like a Doctor Who Blu ray set has to be limited edition.

Hypocritical people specifically the ones that preach kindness but sadistically clap their hands when they successfully bully and humiliate someone off the internet.

Teenagers on bikes. Not all of them, but one of them tried to push my mother into a bush once. I've also been abused by people from the comfort of their bike seat. The temptation to say "get off your bike and say that to me" is always there. I'm not a violent person, I know that the "high and mighty" act will drop once they're at face height.

The lack of proper support for porn addicts. This issue needs to be highlighted properly rather than the usual shrug of the shoulders. Even a therapist I saw awkwardly tried to change the subject when I mentioned that my porn use was one of the things that was causing me distress.

Windows Movie Maker is indeed crap.

That's why it was free

I use VideoPad now. It's much better.

It can be something of a pain in the arse sometimes but it's mostly pretty spot on for weeding out the annoying glitches of WMM.

People who wear baseball bats or other hats indoors. It's fucking rude.

People who speak using double negatives.

Facebook- It is laggy as shit,and just an embarrassment to society.

People who smoke around non-smokers.

Windows 10 login menu, as 3-10 it doesn't load (a known issue).

Americans who don't understand how to speak quietly.

People not replying to opening questions on social media (including people I've been friends with for years): just reading them and buggering off. Most rude, and surprising in the current circumstances.

Also 'like' being used too many times in sentences.

BBC continuity films. Talk about 'london bubble'!

I ran into this problem when editing "Night of the Doctor" to include scenes of Eccelston reciting that war poem a few years back for Channel 4. I rendered the video right, and added in sound effects for transistions and to close the video out...by the time it re-rendered, the first few minutes of the Eccelston portions were out-of-sync

Then there's all the bloody audio scratches you get.

The most irritating thing of all is, I still find the user interface the easiest and most intuitive of all the ones I've tried.
If only it wasn't shit.

Use the "money" trick. If you're under the impression someone is ignoring you just message them saying "do you want your money now?" If they respond enquiring about the money and don't even have the courtesy to tell you why they didn't respond to your previous messages then you should tell them where to go. This trick has exposed so many idiots in the past.

5 weeks and still waiting for the season 2 DVD of Wicked Science to get here, and now - now - they tell me Spain's not currently delivering international post here. Even though the first season, which was posted just the day before from Spain, got here.
What in the name of holy fuck.

They were supposed to pick up my box on Thursday. I got an email that day saying that they were out to collect it. I guess they forgot because by 8pm the box was still sitting on the floor. I rescheduled the courier to pick it up on Monday and yet the box is still in my possession. They've done this before and I suspect they'll do it again in the future. I was forced into using them by the site I'm selling my stuff to. I guess all their workers are just too busy playing football with all the packages and parcels in the depot to do their jobs probably.


You can't blame the virus. The company has always been this bad.
