You've been tasked with re-working the finale of the fourth series of Remake Who into a workable script. How would you go about it?

First off, get rid of Davros' plan. The idea of Davros wanting to rid multiple universes is so stupid (especially when you take into consideration that in one universe, Davros has succeeded, so fundamentally, the story should be over), just put it as a simple conquest throughout the universe.

Next, get rid of Meta Crisis Doctor, there's absolutely no point in him being there. Also while I absolutely love Donna's exit and it fits with her character arc, get rid of the Doctor Donna stuff and try and implement a different sub plot to get Donna to lose her memory.

These are at the top of my head at the moment

Paul McGann's 8th Doctor wakes up in the final 2 minutes of the episode and declares, "What a strange dream I had!"

To be honest, as RTD finales go, this one is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.

If I was to change anything about it, I'd probably try to tone down the shipper nonsense (or at least Murray Gold's accompanying dirge).

I bet Tannman secretly LOVED the bit where all the smug twats are high-fiving each other over the TARDIS console as The Doctor/s inexplicably and magically tows the entire planet Earth back again towards its constellation, it's the kind of simple-minded baby-ish nonsensical fucking shit Douglas Adams would've farted out over a liquid lunch with Graham Williams eyeing his arse with beer goggles from across the bar approvingly.

If the real Rani was here I'd still debate him. He was always much more fun that that outright bore Tannman who has to fall back on using modpowers whilst frapping away and crying like a big overgrown baby.

What a complete dullard.

Very good question when Tanmann has been posting his one-note repetitive revisional agonies about how Saward/JNT/"Warriors of the Deep" caused the series axe for decades now and has to somehow squeeze them into every single thread or conversation thereafter.

Quite possibly infinity.

It's a bit like asking "how often does a scratched record repeat"?

Oh look! Here's Tanmann in his earlier incarnation Sadako.

What a pleasant chap he was then!

I think "Horns Of The Nimon" must be his favourite story!

"Vermin Scum!"

In his earlier incarnation of Sadako:

"Yeah, coming from a member of a cesspit forum of bitter subhuman stunted adolescents who spend everyday slagging off RTD and citing continuity errors as comparable to war atrocities when no one else gives a shit about them.", "Those schoolyard taunts really impress me, not. My god are all you pathetic JNT apologists such despicable lying vermin? Give up the pretense you are somehow cool just because you've got a little clique of losers together who mindlessly agree with everything you all say and can't comprehend anyone thinking differently without turning into a bunch of rampaging primates attacking what you don't have the brainpower to grasp. I can't really say anything more to this deluded JNT apologist rubbish and desperate deflection coming from the most pathetic bunch of bitter sad anoraks, undesirable riff raff and wastrels I have ever come across anywhere in my life and I've lived in Preston for several years so that's no small feat!"

After the events of 'Survival', the 7th Doctor and Ace find themselves in an alternative universe where the Doctor's future self has mutated into a weird, ott mockney geezer who fashionably unfashionable, and makes even Ace seem like a perfectly realistic character.
The Doctor finds realises that this universe is another reality similar to the Land of Fiction, where the 'Master Brain' is actually a collective, or hive-mind entity.
The horrified Doctor breaks the laws of time by intervening to stop the formation of this hive master brain by travelling back to post-war Swansea to make sure that Vivian and Barbara Davies never meet. Meanwhile just to be sure, the Doctor sends Ace to seduce a young Bill Moffat, therefore putting him off women for life; and finally, the Doctor goes back to 1883, where he influences the Fenian dynamite campaign to blow up a newly constructed coffee house on Charlotte Street in London.
Because of all this, the events in Journey's End happen.
