All jokes aside, Peri is VERY attractive. I couldn't deal with the way she looked in The Two Doctors in my early teens. My favourite Peri look now is her blue leotard from Varos. There's just something about Tegan, though. I'm really surprised fandom doesn't rate her looks at all. She's just so glamorous and cute.

For me, it has more to do with the way she's written - she has the opportunity to see all these wondrous things in the Tardis, and she doesn't seem to care: all she wants to to is get back to Heathrow airport.
In comparison, the reason Nyssa has always appealed to me is how much more she knows about all that wondrous stuff than I do.
And I always thought Peri was at her hottest in the Two Doctors.
