Salem's Lot

New version of my favourite Stephen King book coming:

These things are never as good as the book, but I do love the original 1979 miniseries.
I hope the new version is better than the rubbish 2004 remake though!

I love the book and the 79 version.

Problem is, even if any new remake is good (which is doubtful in itself these days), I don't really care that much. If I wanna watch Salem's Lot at home.... I'm gonna be reaching for the 79 version.

I gave the 79 version a try. Maybe Stephen King just isn't my thing.

It might've been my mood at the time, but God did it make Maine seem like a depressing, mean-spirited small-town community to live in.

I love Pamela Salem myself. So sexy and classy.
