I think it may have been a “-10” score. That makes more sense to me.

Variable. Pre show runner episodes - all very good.
The Eleventh Hour - great start, but I credit Matt Smith for that. A good run until the Silence episodes ended. Lost its way in series 6, especially the River Song nonsense. A loose, all over the place series 7. Convoluted 50th special with less than one percent of the heart and joy of The Five Doctors. Interesting take on series 8, but ruined it with Danny Pink, The Mistress and the “egg moon” (!!!). Series 9 - The Doctor has a massive mid life crisis, and it’s not pretty. Series 10 - meh. Too little, too late. Lucas awful, end of Knock Knock pathetic, but I liked Oxygen and Extremis. Last Capaldi episode - awful. The Doctor looked unintentionally pitiful and pathetic, muttering that incredibly long and embarrassing farewell speech to just himself.
More “cerebral” than RTD (not difficult) but characters were often lifeless and the dialogue flat. Bringing almost everyone back to life totally lowered the stakes - and my own interest. At his best exploring interesting ideas, but ultimately sold out to woke, paving the way for the mess we’re in now. So... variable.

The Eleventh Hour - the only MS story I like unreservedly. I loved it at the time and thought (rather naively) it would usher in a new age of proper Who adventures.
It didn't.

I noticed that a lot of people have forgotten Vincent and the Doctor in their rankings, and my heart kind of dies inside.

I felt that way about the fifth series as a whole. I couldn't believe how awful series six was in comparison. The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon was the beginning of the end for me.

Hmm... strange...  Series 5 was the reason I completely fell out with NuWho - and apart from TEH, the Weeping Angels two-parter, bits of Vincent and the Doctor, and bits of The Lodger, I couldn't abide S5 or Matt Smith at all. Now I don't mind it or him so much...
I suppose that's an unexpected side-effect of watching Chibnall and Whittaker's era - it makes previous NuWho stuff seem like a work of genius in comparison.*

*Slight exaggeration there- nothing from the reboot series could possibly be described as a work of genuis.
