The 2006 series finale is regarded as being an emotional roller coaster of an masterpiece but what is your stance on this rather erm.... bizarre statement?

The cliffhanger is great, everything else is tedious. Oberman's acting completly robs Torchwood One of any gravitas and makes them look like panto villains
"I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO GHOST"
Fuck right out of here with that. That belongs in GB 2016.

It didn't make me feel anything. The direction is particularly poor. Harper only seems to work well for the shows when there are limitations. Not one of the episodes he directed were notable in the visuals department. If you look at something like Caves you're immediately struck by how different the whole thing feels and how inventive a lot of the camerawork is. I'm not sure how Doomsday differs visually from any other episode made during Series 2.
