ROFL, check out this 50 shades of salt thrown at the anti-Jodie fans by Digitalspy as they count up all the popular Doctors

https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/cult/a852277/doctor-who-ranked-actors-doctors/
Average score: 6.6 out of 10
The 13th Doctor peaked at 7.5 (for 'Rosa') and troughed at 5.4 ('The Tsuranga Conundrum'), which places her lower than you might expect.
We wouldn't dream of accusing angry fan-boys of targeting the IMDb ratings as a way of venting their disdain for a female Doctor or "PC" storylines, but if that had happened, well, it would explain why a series that's done so consistently well in the ratings and proven enormously popular with viewers appears so low in this ranking.
Expect to see 13's stock rise as the vote stabilises over time.

I get the impression Series 11 did go down quite well with the general public.
For about four weeks.
I remember Jodie's debut and Rosa being spoken of quite well.
But then I heard more and more from younger fans who'd even enjoyed Moffat's era to the end, say that S11 was just dead air to them.
I think Arachnids killed the series really.

-'peaked at 7.5 for 'Rosa"
-the low ranking is largely the result of an anti-'PC' rebellion.
Pick one.

In general it's bizarre that they're using IMDb ratings as a gauge and then complaining about rating brigades. That's exactly how IMDb ratings work, and the same reason why NuWho otherwise substantially beats out the Classic series by that measure.

Another defeat for series 11, as the BAFTA Virgin Media "Must See Moment" (a populist category) won by Bodyguard's dispatch of Keely Hawes' character and not Rosa on a bus. Congratulations to actual quality television and for goggleboxers having actual taste.

I can vividly remember in the weeks after Death in Heaven feeling so disillusioned that I actually realized I'd even gotten sick of the theme tune now. Like everything else that had been hyped to death as 'wonderful' about the show, it now felt hollow, meaningless and insipid because the show itself had been rendered that.
It's as if the hyping of the show had suddenly become so ghastly it was rendering everything else about it ghastly too.

So the show, having not being able to cut it all the award shows that matter, has been nominated for two TV Choice awards, best family drama and best leading actress, in short, they're leaving it to the choice of the simple minded goggleboxers who probably need something to champion now that Jezzer's off the air.
Loved watching Doc Freedom's video where he's butthurt people are complaining about the show getting these latest nominations. That man is quite out of touch, he even defends the quality of Game of Thrones lately.

Think they're onto a winner there, do they..?

Heasd the show won a BNAFF award.
Not only is that an award I've never heard of, it sounds like the teleportation effect used to describe Nightcrawler's powers

What would Roger Delgado do
If he were here right now?
He'd make a plan and he'd follow through
That's what Roger Delgado'd do.

Is this award "current" - i.e., for Jodie's first season? Tanmann's link is for an article dated 11.06.2014.

It is current yes.
Whittaker's Doctor Who is on the list here, but you'll probably have to do a Ctrl+F wordsearch for it because it's a pretty long page of winning entries.

Ah, that'll be a "Taking Part" trophy then...
