Doctor Who: Resolution had an official rating of 7.13 million viewers, according to figures released by the Broadcasting Research Audience Board, BARB.

6.95 million watched the episode on a conventional TV set. However the BARB 4-Screen Dashboard shows that an additional 73,000 watched on their PC, 54,000 watched on a Tablet device and 44,000 watched on a smartphone These figures make Doctor Who the 14th most watched programme of the week ending 6th January.

Top for the week was the New Year Fireworks on BBC One getting 12.27 million watching.

The final rating is the lowest consolidated rating for a Christmas/New Year special since the series returned in 2005.

Christ, even the 4 screen figures are poor.

And that's the beginning and end of it. All their BARB bullshit is just made up nonsense.

Other than its support by allocated taxpayers' money, Doctor Who would be dead on arrival, not shooting series 12. I think Series 11 has to rank as the worst in the 2005 series' history, and ranks worst easily compared to any "Classic" Who. Even though series 11 has "muh production values" ie the sets aren't made of cardboard and the rest of the fuckwitted criticism of the real show, it's just fucking dire.

There is no genuine aggregated score on any website, and no genuine viewer figures, that show anything other than a total disinterest and in some cases wholesale rejection of Doctor Woke.

The question now is how quickly Doctor Who 2005-2019 goes down in flames, and how intense the doubling down will be before the end.

You'd be hard pushed to find a more patronising and arrogant creature than Jon Blum (even if you spent months searching the entire vista of the Internet).

He's been the production team's metaphorical bidet since 2005; most probably in the vague hope of getting some sort of gig on the show.

Cheers, Boofer.

Before I got banned they deleted my post against him where I told him he's the hopeless sad fuckwit in the pub trying to please a girl who is never going to look at him let alone go out with him.
He constantly shills for the show, perhaps in the hopes of recapturing his 18 month long "glory days" when he was one of the fan fiction writers assfucking the BBC Doctor Who books range to death.
He and Kate Orman should be ostracised by anyone who cares about real Doctor Who. He attaches himself to other projects too, usually to their detriment, never to their benefit.
Literally a fan fiction writer who occasionally makes tiddlywinks money at it, the perfect example of a semi-pro shitkicker who won't shut the fuck up.
There's whole pages of his drivel on GB, where he fills a page or more with responses to every single posts.
Once in a while even one of the other idiots calls him out on it. But far too rarely.
He isn't Magnus Greel, he's Comical Ali.

Cheers,

Time Traveller

He's not called out by the regulars any more because he latches onto any criticism like a locked-jawed Pitbull, shaking his victims until the last glimmer of life fades from their eyes.

I've never seen a poster so prolific in needing to have the last word.

His ego is totally out of control.

Rotten Tomatoes Viewers Score now down to 21% and some of the comments over the last few days have been more scathing than ever, as more and more people admit that Whittaker was miscast and is out of her depth in the role despite the main criticism's still being the social justice agenda and weak writing.

Good. Way too many people have given her the free pass when criticising the series. The idea that only the writing is holding her back from being a great Doctor is utter, utter bollocks.

It pains me to say it because it hardly deserves one but isn't the NTA principally an ITV production, therefore Nu Who is at a disadvantage at winning an award. When the likes of Emmerdale scoop numerous gongs...

And 21%! Try deleting that, BBC!
