Is classic Who set for Blu ray season boxsets?

Go down  Message [Page 1 of 1]

For some reason I can't post a link here but best buy has a listing for a Tom Baker First Season Blu ray boxset, scheduled for March next year.

Whether its BS remains to be seen.

Here it is, you'll have to copy and paste it,
https://www. bestbuy.com/site/doctor-who-tom-baker-complete-first-season-blu-ray-disc/33705327.p?skuId=33705327&ref=199&loc=f7sX52tQY3I&acampID=1&siteID=f7sX52tQY3I-rhj00ph8qsZ.Lz6FHDG6Kg I keep trying to link it and it keeps coming up with a message saying I haven't got the rights to access this page. What the fuck's up with that shit?

People still buy movies and TV shows on physical media? How quaint.

I don't think it is BS.

Oh wow, that's a surprise. The question is: will it be worth the upgrade?

I thought the extant Shada footage looked quite sharp to my untrained eyes. I find it hard to imagine they would rescan all that existing material. Depends on your TV I think, size, resolution, all that

Can you put something shot on video out on bluray?

View user profile
Of course you can. It's whether or not it makes a blind bit of difference to the PQ that's the issue (probably not). Wink

It won't be compressed so better, yes, not sure how much exactly.
