I haven't seen Pyramids on Mars but this makes the recent Monky trilogy sound very derivative.

Outside of Earthshock, possibly Tomb of the Cybermen, Caves of Androzani, Remembrance and Genesis I haven't seen any of the stories shown in the video so I don't know if it's a good list or not.

My nearest HMV has a bunch of classic DVDs and Amazon has a whole bunch that are probably cheaper, is there anything I should buy the next time I want a DVD binge?

It's a reasonably solid list, nothing to make you go 'WTF'!?!

Scar-roth and Ramona. Bitch doesn't even know how to pronounce the names, so he's basically read a synopsis and not watched the stories.

They are all good, but I have to confess, I have never really gotten the love for Ark in Space. It has a lot of clever ideas and the body horror is still kind of cool despite the bubblewrap. However, it just leaves me cold.

If I had to recommend two it would be Pyramids of Mars and Curse of Fenric. Pyramids' last episode is a bit padded but it's still top notch. Curse of Fenric is great and just shows the idea that McCoy's era was in terminal decline is just nonsense. They even give Ace characterisation!

With those two you would have traditional one and a more radical one.

I love City of Death but, apparently, some people find it too silly

Yeah, it's a solid list. You would have to try really hard to fuck up a best stories one
