I wonder if Murray Gold will be going after series 10 too and Blair Mowat will replace him. Murray has been with the show for 12 years now, if music works in any way similar to the actors, he must be more expensive now than when the show started and the BBC no longer have the rights to the soundtracks so they won't be getting much in CD/itune sales.

Blair Mowat is younger and only got his first credit in 2008, doing nothing but shorts and a few documentaries until 2015. I'm sure he'd be a lot cheaper and he already has experience with Doctor Who: The Fan Show and Class.

I'm sure they just hired him to shit out a tune for a one time trailer, but still. Something to think about. Would he be better or worse than Gold?
