Something called fan fiction illustrated seems to be happening. Some sort of appalling comic book thing that has a story by Andrew Cartmel.

Fish Fingers and Custard is returning

Whotopia 30 has been out a little while now: http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2016/12/whotopia-30.html

Issue 19 just out

Then there is this:

"We're finally doing it... we're producing a fanzine! The plan is for a high-quality print zine - we want to give ourselves plenty of time and so don't imagine publishing Issue 1 until summer 2017. We need things to fill it with - we'll be specially commissioning a fair old bit, but do please message us if you've any ideas or submissions - we'll consider anything! Articles, fiction, artwork, etc... "

"Sisters! For our inaugural fanzine we are preparing an article on the 'Sisterhood of Karn' group itself. We're on the hunt for any photographs that people might have of our meetings and activities over the years - particularly from the earlier days. Do please get in touch if you think that you can help. We'd also be keen to hear from people who have any personal stories, memories, or anecdotes about the group that they'd like us to include in the feature. We'd like to make this as definitive a record and archive as we can - so do get in touch!"

I might have to submit some things to fish fingers and custard. Do you think they'd take it?

An ongoing nuwho parody titled Professor Why.

Most fanzines will bite your hand off. Unpaid writing, no problem.

It turned up today and at 200 pages it's twice the size of a DWM. They look amazing, feel fantastic and smell... erm... incredible? Obviously, I haven't had a chance to read it yet and wanted to say how nice everything was but...

they are just beautiful.

I am ensorcelled. Well done to everyone involved. I am looking forward to the Alan Moore interview the most but there is an article by Tat wood that I have my eye on as well and the Clayton Hickman interview should be good value... phwoar!

First issue (Free) design seems a bit basic but the content looks interesting.

Our fanzine looks pretty basic too, though the images aren't pixelated to fuck. Thanks for reminded me that we need to get ours done.
