Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith actually had an effect on the way Lost ended

Lost ended with a Buddhist metaphor for life, making the island a symbolic purgatory for people who couldn’t give up their connections to their past Earthly lives.
The start of the article and the author already showed they know nothing about Lost.

There were some questions about the island, its residents and protectors that went unsolved — like the Man in Black, otherwise known as the Smoke Monster.
Now I suspect they've never even seen the show. Everything had an answer on Lost. EVERYTHING!

Lost is one of my favourite shows ever to the point that I'm ashamed to say I didn't watch it for years because seeing a trailer with polar bears on a tropical island annoyed me. If only there was a way to give myself amnesia so I could experience it for the first time again.

For three long days, I felt the cold hand of death on my shoulder. Lost in the depths of despair I tried to figure out what I had done to deserve this. I wasn't an evil person. The worst thing I'd ever done was kick a pig - School trip to Heston Farm, 1964, I maintain it was self-defence.
